This early season duathlon event for Youths and juniors aged 15 to 19 years old as at 31/12/2012,under the Youth and Junior categories,is part of a three race series hosted by Tri-it events and Ryton Triathlon club.
The series comprises one duathlon and 2 open water triathlons based at Hetton Lyons country park near Sunderland which was the home of the Inter regional championships in 2011.
The course is all traffic free with the run on tracks and grass and the cycle on closed tarmac roads within the park confines.
