How to enter an event

From the Entry Live home screen there will be a list of events, these are shown in date order and can be filtered by discipline by clicking on the relevant discipline on the bar on the top of the page.
Choose the event you want and click on the link to the right.
Where there is more than one race type or distance within the event you will then be taken to a page where you can choose the race distance you wish to enter.
If there is only one race distance you will be taken straight into the race.
This will give you more information about the race and the entry options.
If this is the race you want click to enter the race.
If you are not already logged in or are a new user of Entry Live you will then be asked to log in or register. See below for how to register and enter other family members to the same race. Once you have done this you can choose which entry option you require and will be asked for some more race specific details.
You will be able to pay for the race by credit or debit card and in some cases can also elect to pay by cheque.

How to enter more than one event.

If you have elected to pay by card then from your basket page, choose the link to add another event, this will take you back to the list of events, repeat the event entry process for the next race and it will be added to your basket. There is no limit to the number of events you can enter at once or the number of people within your profile family you can enter, other than your bank balance!

How to enter other members of your family into the same event or other events.

Entry Live now gives you the ability to create a family group of users. To add a new family member to your profile, firstly ensure you have a user profile for yourself. Then go through the process of entering the race you want, when you click to enter the race it will prompt you to log on or if you are already logged on it will take you straight to the choose profile option. This page will show you all the profiles within you profile family group, choose the family member you which to enter and proceed through the event entry process. You can also create a new user profile from the chose profile page and then proceed to enter this person in the race. On your basket page this entry will then show alongside any other entries you have made and the name of the entrant will be shown. You can add as many races and entrants as you wish before paying for them all together.

How to pay for events.

Races can be paid for by credit/debit card or by cheque.
Some race orgnisers choose to only allow card payments for the races.
If you choose to pay by cheque on completion of the race entry form you will be directed to a page which gives you the name and address to send the cheque to. Please check in each case, not all races are organised by TriHard.
If you choose to pay by card, on completion of the race entry form you will be taken to your basket, from here you can add more events, products or club memberships to your basket for yourself or other members of your profile family and then when you have everything you want click the link to make payment. This will then take you into the secure payment system we use which is operated by Sagepay. Please ensure you complete the Sagepay process fully. On completion of the Sagepay process you will be directed back to Entry Live system and this completes your entry process. If you leave Sagepay without returning to Entry Live you will not be shown as Paid for your events/items.

I get an error message saying the VendorTxCode has been used before..

If we get an unusually high number of entries in a month the reference number passed to our payment processing company SagePay, which should be unique, is sometimes repeated, if this happens refresh the View Your Events page, this should generate a new reference number and your payment should be processed. If this still doesn't work, try closing your browser and logging back in. Alternatively you can contact us to pay over the phone.

My entry says IN PROCESS how can I now make payment.

If you close your browser or there is a problem with Sagepay payment site you may get stuck in IN PROCESS. This happens in order that you don't keep trying and pay more than once. We check for IN PROCESS regularly on a daily basis and will email you when you can make payment again. Alternatively, email or ring and we can sort it out straight away. Please do not create a new log in.

What to do if you forget your password.

Once on the Entry Live homepage choose the option to login, enter your email address and then click on the password reminder link. If you have registered on the site more than once or several email addresses, make sure you check against the right email address.

What to do if you forget your login email address.

If you can’t remember the email address you used to register on our system then email us using the web enquiry form on the contact us link and we will email back with your details.

Can I amend my club, swim time, emergency contact or other details for a particular race.

If you log in and go to Your Events you will see the races you have entered in your basket if you click on the name of the race it will take you to the race entrant details you can then amned any of the above or any of the other questions asked by the race organiser. A word of caution though if you change these details too close to the date of the race the race organiser may have already downloaded the data and your changes may not be picked up.

How do I check that I am entered in an event.

If you log in and go to Your Events you will see the races you have paid for in your basket or if you go to the enter events page you will be able to click the link alongside the event to see the full list of entrants.

How to join a club.

From the main event entry homepage, scroll down to view memberships or click on the membership link on the top bar. Choose the club you wish to join. The process for joining a club for yourself or a member of your profile family is just the same as entering an event.

How to join a club for another member of your profile family.

Follow the instructions above for joining a club, on choosing the club to join you will be taken to the choose profile screen, from her you can choose which member of your profile family you wish to join the club. The process for joining the club is the same as entering an event.

How to purchase merchandise/event products

At the moment only TriHard specific event merchandise is available. You can purchase this by going to the TriHard home page and clicking on the event merchandise link.

When will my merchandise arrive

Depending on what you have ordered it will be despatched immediately or it will be available when you register at the event on race day. You will be advised when you make your purchase what the delivery deadline is.
